Another point to consider: His behavior after you changed his habitat location was normal. Igs go through "relocation stress". They are *so* dependent on familiarity of their surroundings that they stress out when anything changes. so they change from relaxed and predictable to guarded and defensive, too preoccupied with the newness to eat or socialize. I've had that happen with my own igs in my own house, when I moved them to different habitats.
Then, before he mellowed out again, he popped into breeeding mode. It sounds normal to me. It's the downside of ig-keeping. He'll get over it.
