: Well, I finally got my Ig, a rescue from a rehabber friend of mine. He is 2.5 feet long and mean tempered.Actually he seems just afraid to me. We are constructing a 4'8' enclosure as we speak. I have estimated him to be about 4 years old. The lord only knows how many owners he has had. He is a pro at tail whipping... As he settles in after his bath, with a fresh bowl of collards, mustard and turnip greens under his heat lamp.....ummmmmmmm do you all have any tips on taming this beast???? I have all the husbandry stuff down....UVB and diet....humidity and the like...I have all the patience in the world..... : He has alot of orange on him now.....his spikes are yucky...seems like callouses, is that the speling??? I wish the looked better... He is missing a toe,,,but I gotta tell ya he doesn't look that bad.... : I have been sitting by him....he shuts me out.....This beast is what I always wanted.... I've got the money.....the patience....a vet....teach me!!!!!!
