Hi all,

I'm writing an article about hot rocks and was wondering if any of you who have had bad experiences with them could answer a few questions.

1. What brand and model of hot rock did you use?

2. Where in the enclosure was the heat rock placed (under a heat light, near water dish, etc.)?

3. Was the animal in direct contact with the rock?

4. Did you place a sock, sweater or cloth over the rock?

5. Was the rock buried in sand or another substrate?

6. Did you use a rheostat? If so, what temperature was it at?

7. Did you ever measure the temperature of the rock with a thermometer? If so, what was the temp?

8. If your ig suffered burns, where were they located on the body and how bad were they? Was veterinarian attention necesary?

9. Do you have any pictures of the burns?

10. Did you notice any other symptoms other than burns (constipation, etc.)?
