I have an adult female, and hadn't heard of reabsorption though on the egg thing.

I know my female's appetite changes constantly, and I've had sooooo many false alarms of thinking it's egg time when the appetite goes down.

Could be egg time, but from my experience, have had more false alarms than anything. I would try seeing if she'll eat a favorite treat or not. If she's carrying eggs, she should reject even a treat since they're desire to eat goes down with the lack of stoach space.

Also, did she eat like a pig for 6-8 weeks before she stopped? Normally when they're generating the eggs the really gorge first before stopping on the eating front...
