I'm sure it won't make you feel any better, but for what is worth, these Iguanas do have a room with tree sections for climbing and full spectrum light for their emotional well being, as opposed to a tank. They are however in a large glass enclosure in that photo, but only because that is where they ended up while he was persuing her.
It is a very aggressive breeding behaviour, but it is very similiar in many species of lizards.
Again, I am sorry for effecting your emotions and this photo was really directed at folks with an interest in how they breed.
I promise for you Amy, I will only post pictures that will leave you with a good feeling. Leo
