: I REALLY hope that you're nowhere in the US, Leo. Because if you are your little "miricles of nature" are most likely not making it beyond their first year of life. If you are in the US you are also contributing to an already unnecessary problem of extreme abuse/neglect of captive iguanas. Yet another consequense is that you are contributing to the greater workload of local humane societies and rescue organizations that are already overburdened with unwanted reptiles that mammalian shelters have neither the staff nor the resources to care for.
: Your "professionalism" just went down the toilet with me. Don't worry, it was already floating there after I found out the cause of the ig's tail loss - I just decided to flush. Anyone keeping iguanas, or any other animals for that matter, for any kind of legitimate "scientific" purposes would not be making a profit from any "incidental" fertilization that may occur. There wouldn't be any hatchlings from which to profit. Any eggs would be frozen before being disposed of. In all honesty, my impression of you just slid from an "educator" with questionable husbandry practices to a backyard breeder that's subsidizing his income by exploiting some "cool" animals. Sorry if I'm way off base here but that's just what I've seen so far.
: I apologize if this comes across a bit harsh but we've turned down another half dozen calls for iguanas and have taken 2 gators and a caiman within the last 2 months and the Christmas rush isn't for another month or two. From everything you've mentioned so far, Leo, you're not doing anything to help me here.
