This is actually far more than anything that I would have hoped to see happen, Rachel....VERY nicely done. I can't take any credit for it - you did all of the work here. Look into using a mercury vapor lamp (ActiveUV or PowerSun) for UV in that enclosure as it can surely handle one without any problems. If you're in New England, I might even offer to deliver the enclosure if it will save any significant shipping costs for you - as long as we can fit it into my schedule...;) I understand JWorld is totally custom and professional and don't want to step on their toes at all, of course.

Congratulations on accomplishing the sometimes difficult task of changing a parent's mind. You may want to consider a political career some day if you can convince "parents" ;)~

In all seriousness, please thank your parents for us, especially your father. I know that parents have to deal with some difficult situations from time to time. The 3' gator that we just took would be a good example. What do you say to your 15 yr old when he walks in the door with a baby alligator? Well...WE all know the answer to that one but......

You're on the road to becoming an excellent iguana keeper Rachel. Keep the enclosure clean, the food fresh, the surrounding area sanitized, get a copy of Hatfield's book and you'll have hopefully nothing but great luck from here on out.
