I thought that it was a bad idea to keep the two together. But you know, not my place to say! I'm just happy that Jafeica is out of his last home and into one where he is loved! He is not yet showing aggression towards the other one even though he is bigger. I have a horse who was kept alone for the first 6 years of her life, and now, 3 years later is just learning how to play. I think maybe that could be the case.
The other thing is, the reptile vet in our province is inredible, he sexed Jafeica and said female. I thought so too (but I really had no idea) because he was 4-5, had no jowls or pronounced pores. Since June, he is actually starting to look like a male. But, is is possible that he is still a female? Zipper, the other iguana thought he was a male. Oh, I'm all confused now! Oh well :) Thanks for your help again, Wendy
