From the sounds of it, she needs to get that poor iguana to a reptile experienced veternarian while it is still alive. I would quess that this is a calcium deficiency problem maybe caused by a lack of UVB light. This is generally the case. The vet will want to draw blood. Yes, this is expensive. No, the iguana may not make it till the owner returns. Reptiles are usually very far down before they show their health problems.
An experienced vet will help with diet needs.
