The oldest of my current "personal" igs are approximately 4 (Mel & Janeine). And yes, there are a lot of factors that will contribute to his future health especially since you may have a limited knowledge of his past health. Best thing to do would be to set up an appt with a qualified herp vet in your area and have a full exam done. Fecal, blood, etc sothat you can establish a baseline from which to compare any future medical concerns/improvements etc....
