just to add to what she said, please adopt one when you decide to get your iguana. You can adopt juveniles sometimes or ones that are old enough to tell their breed (helpful). There are many advantages to this...rescuers usually bring them up to good health and start taming them before adopting them out. There are so many unwanted ones out there so please consider this.
