What kind of enclosure are you housing your ig in? Sometimes a wire cage or threads from carpet can do this. Also, make sure he has proper humidity and warm baths to promote proper shedding-- you can help him get shed off around the toes in case his old skin is strangling the nail and it falls off. Keep an eye out for this shed, but don't pull it off too soon or you will cause him harm.
Put triple antibiotic on them and watch for signs of infection. If they heal fine, he'll be okay, but if they appear infected, see a vet.
Try to identify and remove whatever items are causing this before he loses them all (and can't climb anymore!)
