It took me six months to tame mine and it was handling constantly (a few times each day).

Try to pick him up with a soft piece of cover and see how that goes. That helped me. He started out biting the cover and then started liking it (still sleeps with it).

Also, when the ig is tired at night, maybe it will lay with you to watch TV. Mine got used to doing that with me and still does it.

They have to learn to trust you. They don't like loud noises (at least mine doesn't) or loud people. Mine also doesn't like a lot of people around and doesn't like when we wear red/orange.
