Have you RESEARCHED an iguaan? You mentioned your mom getting it so im assuming your living at home and school aged, are you prepared to care for this animal when you are in college, when you aer married and have kids of your own. Do you know there eatting requirments? there heating requirements? Unless you have everything up and ready I suggest you get that done BEFORE getting an iguana and check rescues there are TONS of them needing homes, there not easy to care for pets and not somethign that you can ignore in a cage either. Happy bday, and if your prepared and set up and ready for a life long commitment I wish you luck on getting one.
