in the last several years have become very popular. There are some people that have been very successful in captive breeding these magnificent lizards. In accordance with that success the price has dropped considerably. Three years ago a hatchling Rhino would have cost you between $400 and $600. Now you can purchase nice hatchlings for little over $150. Be advised that Rhinos get very large and need lots of space, but they are very interesting and rewarding to keep. Pictured are my oldest female, Bubbles, and my newest, a hatchling as yet unnamed. 
Rhino Iguana are CITES protected.
