A special "spot" where your iguana lays. In fact, they usually lay just about anywhere (LOL).
I have a basking spot on top of a huge dog pen (made comfortable with a beach towel, lights, water bowls, food and a heating pad), which is neat our heat register and a window (that doesn't get sun beating in). Max (my ig -- he's a free roamer on my second floor) loves to look out the window (instead of at a wall). Sometimes he will go across the hall to my daughter's room and get up on her window sill and look out that window.
