If the average person knew what they were buying, they would not buy an iguana. I have no doubt that if bred in the US, we could supply the people who actually know what they are buying.
We don't need to make iguanas an endangered species and this is what we are doing.
I do expect problems with the breeding in the US. Ever notice that the average breeder buys an animal just to breed, then asks questions on how to care for it. These people are trying to make money at an animals expense. Just like puppy mills.
