It always helps to recieve informed opinions from others, but a lot of the people that come on here are not looking for whats best for their pets, only a cheap alternative. And even if yoy do recieve help from people here, you still need to go to a vet to get the drugs you need for treatment. Like it or not, you have to find someway to co-exist with a vet. They have the facilities and equipment that can't be found in a home. No one i know has a home X-Ray machine. And no one I know can do the necessary surgery for an animal thats eggbound. So, once again it comes down to, if you don't have the money to properly care for a pet, don't get one.
