...there are times when people don't KNOW how big or small a problem is, especially when it's their first time experiencing it. (We were all newbies at some point, and you can't research EVERYTHING before-hand).
If they've got a Leo, or any lizard, who's shedding, and there's skin dried up round their toes, that could simply be swabbed off with a damp q-tip, they don't know their toes ain't gonna drop off in 5 minutes.
So, sometimes people ask before going to a vet in case it's nothing to worry about.
like this post. She thought there may have been something wrong with her Ig, because it was growing in funny places, would she need to call out a vet just to find out the Ig was "coming of age", so to speak?
After all, isn't that why we're all here? To help each other, give advice, and, of course, show off pics of our beauties. :)
But, yup, the kids who come on here moaning "Well, I'm only 13, and it was only $10. It was cheap, so I bought it, hey it was only $9 for a 10g fishtank too, I can't afford a vet" should stop wasting their time, our time, and animals' lives and go get a brick to look after.
