I bought a lampholder with a ceramic socket to use with the 60 watt ceramic heat element I have just gotten. The lamp says it is "specifically designed with a ceramic socket to withstand the high heat of reptile incandescent lamps up to 150 watts." But the instructions that come with my ceramic heat element say to use a lampholder with a MINIMUM 250 watt rating. My lampholder is a maximum 150 watt rating. So does this mean I cannot use a 60 watt ceramic heat element in my lampholder? I am confused by all this. This is my first encounter with CHE and I do not want to cause a fire. Thanks.
