80 at the bottom is just fine. They need a cooler place to retreat if they are feeling to hot. You want a heat gradient, not one heat everywhere. And if your lowest is 80 thats fine. My iguana has one corner of her cage that is regularly 75. (but i am talking about an adult iguana in a very large enclosure)
