A few ways -- the pores on the thighs are usually much larger on a male -- females are smaller.

When a male goes to the bathroom, the penis sometimes shows. Also, the male will leave you little sperm plugs every so often (sticky things).

A male has a larger head and jowls (sticks out more where those "discs" are on the face).
