I use a CHE all the time and it works great. There's only a few things you have to be cautious of though. Make sure that you use a ceramic socket to go with the CHE as they get extreemly hot and can melt the plastic ones, thats how fires start. Second, because of the intense heat they put off, you have to make sure there is no way your iguana can get in contact with it as it can cause severe burns in seconds.

Personally, I love mine, its save greatly on the cost of other bulbs, it cranks out lots of heat, and you can use it for either the day or the night. I reccomend them, so long as you take the proper precautions.
