I have a ceramic heat emitter for night and it is safe as long as you have a ceramic socket light fixture, not a plastic one. I leave it on during the day too, with another basking light, so it is safe..

: Could you please tell me your experience with them? I need a heater at night for my ig since the weather is getting colder, but I have heard that cermaic heaters get very hot and could be a fire hazard or can easily burn your ig. Thanks for your input.
