In Reply to: Question about iguana's behavior... posted by Dara on December 03, 2001 at 19:58:51:
If he is truly concerned, he should go to a qualified herp vet...take a fresh fecal sample in and get a blood work up (this will point to any suspicious areas like infection/organ failure/etc.)
I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but sometimes these small personality changes can signify something very problematic (igs hide their illnesses well) My last ig showed signs of a respiratory illness out of no where and by the time but he died on the way to the vet (turned out he had some serious issues that he was masking for quite awhile).
My current ig gets regular fecals and yearly bloodwork so as to spot any irregularities.
Good luck.
