I had my birds for l5 years. I was SO tired of them, but kept them because no one wanted to take care of them like I did. I finally found someone who was thrilled to get them. It did take a long time, though.

I have my ig because I am taking better care of it than its original owner. Did I want one -- NO. I love having him and he's a wonderful pet, but I wasn't counting on taking care of another animal. However, I do want to keep him and am glad I got him.
