Try to encourage him to mate with something...like the luv sock (sew a sock filled with uncooked rice,then heat until warm in microwave, wriggle in front of iguana) This may help direct his aggression to an inanimate object...and he'll get some gratification. My last iguana would mate with towels and clothes, but our current boy, Sleestack, doesn't get it! He's searching all over the house for a female but he really is quite confused about the whole situation. He has been grumpy but not overly aggressive.
