Yup,
Mr. D's right, and I've seen this argument in countless forums for other reptiles. The only two diff species I've mixed (and would ever mix) are Green & Brown Anoles with House Geckos. And that's only because I've seen them living out in the wild here together in (what seems like) perfect harmony. The Anoles get the day, the Geckos get the night. Identical conditions, same food, etc.
As far as Iguanas go, we just built a L10'xW5'xH7' enclosure outside for ours, and we're very lucky the two get along. We only got Annie (the 4ft female) a few months ago, but Skittles we've had a long while. Skittles seems more interested in reproducing than fighting though.
But, before I put the two together, I asked around other experienced Ig owners (like Candy from Reptile Rescue), and even she said it may be a tough road to get the two Igs living together in comfort. After hearing that, I wouldn't even think about mixing an ig with another species.
To be completely honest, if you can't afford separate enclosures for all your different reptiles (and bear in mind most experienced her keepers usually have at least 2 or 3 more tanks/cages/homes than they actually need, for quarantine/emergency purposes, etc.), I recommend getting rid of what you can't properly house - or not buying it in the first place.
