I have heard of something like that. I thought it was in Mexico, though. It was basically a yard or a small park that was fenced off, and several iguanas live there. I saw footage of it on TV once. The iguanas did not seem intimidated by people, and some would let the people touch them. But as it was fenced off, the iguanas could retreat into the yard and away from the people when they wanted to. It seemed to be a tourist attraction. Sorry, it was quite a while ago, and I can't remember all details, or what program/channel I saw it on...
: My caller last night talked about an Iguana land in Florida that was fenced off. This is the second time I have heard of this santuary for iguanas. Has anyone else heard about this? Is it real or do pet stores create this?
