I just got an Iguana. I would like to know how I can tell if it is a boy or a girl. Also its tail fell off last wekk..Is that normal and will it grow back to its orginal size of bigger? Answers wil be greatly appreciated.

P.S.. Is it bad to keep the light on it all night or could I turn the light off at nite or would that be too cold for him? I have a heat rock
