No offense, but I think I'll pass.. I learned Visual BASIC back in '94 on Win3.11... I didn't like it then, and I've not liked it much since.
Personally if you want a nice rapid application development environment, I'd use Delphi. Then you can port the code real easily into Kylix and create both Windows & Linux executables (and they don't require you distribute about 6-10Meg of DLLs with a 50k application). Also, Delphi apps run a lot faster than VB apps.
