When I had Maya for 2 months, I brought him to the vet. He was very healthy, but at that time I didn't do a fecal exam. Well maybe 4 months later I could see that he was still very healthy but I kept reading about people saying that you should do a fecal exam, also I thought he wasn't growing much. So I went and he had worms (hookworms). That's why he wasn't growing at all.

: have had my Iguana for about a year and 2 months and she was about 3 months old when I got her. That would make her about 1 year and 5 months old. She is in a pretty big cage and she is pretty active, so I don't really think she has worms. However, I measured her today and she is about a foot and 8 inches. I am wondering if there is something wrong because I heard they should be about two feet at the end of the first year. Is this true? Thanks
