Hi Badgrrl,
Igs differ.
My female, Habib, is three years old this month, and she eats a ton every day. She loves her collards, mustard greens and almost every vegetable I offer her. For treats, she LOVES whole wheat breads, pasta, and even a bit of pancake on occasion.
My male, Bobbit, (also around three years-old)however, hasn't been eating much for about two weeks now. I have to trick him into eating by offering him a whole banana. That's the only thing that will even get him to open his mouth. Once he opens his mouth to take a chomp off the top of the peeled banana I am holding out to him, I hurry and stick a collard leaf or two into his mouth and he will eat it down. This is what I've been doing for two weeks now because he won't eat due to the change of the weather. He's depressed and he keeps pawing at the window because he wants to go out in his outdoor cage. He doesn't quite understand that Novembers in Utah aren't exactly tropical and that he'd be an Igsickle if we let him go outside.
Anyway, if your vet said she looks well and she is at least eating something, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You sound like a GREAT ig owner. Wish there were more of you out there...
Diana
