Fruit and bread...

Maya eat's a great diet but rarely get's fruits. He doesn't like them! Last week I bought a papaya, so I'll try this over his food. But usually, he doesn't eat the fruit (fresh figs, melon, cactus pear)that I have tried. Is this okay for him not to eat fruit really? He eats plenty of varied greens and veg. Fruit is not really a "must" right?

Also I read in the earlier post about not feeding bread. Well Maya loves bread (whole wheat, good bread). I feed it as a treat that's okay right?
