An Anegada iguana is shown at the World-Famous San Diego Zoo, Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001. Four Anegada iguanas born at the Center for Reproduction of Endangered Species (CRES), the research arm of the Zoological Society of San Diego, are the offspring of the first-ever successful breeding pair of this species in any zoo. CRES is housed at the World-Famous San Diego Zoo and has the only captive breeding group in existence. The iguanas, which are native to Anegada Island in the British Virgin Islands, are the third most critically endangered iguana in the world. There are fewer than 300 remaining in the wild, and their population has undergone an 80 percent decline since the 1960s. (AP Photo/San Diego Zoo)
