Dark leafy greens are what is best for an ig. Instead of romaine and green leaf lettuce, use collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, danelion greens, endive, or escarole. These greens are much more nutritious for them. Definitely never give him meat, and I wouldn't recommend bread either. What you can use as a treat is fruit. Fruit should not be fed to them everyday. Instead of the fruit you give him try things like butternut squash, snow peas, green peppers, green beans, and okra.
