: : A really good friend of mine just died and he owned an Iguana. I am now taking the Iguana so that it won't be given to a pet store, but, the only problem is that I really don't know a whole lot about Iguanas. It is about 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 feet long and has a cage that is about 6'H 8'L 4'W. I have been told to feed it lettuce about twice a week and to keep a full bowl if Iguana food from the pet store and lots of water in the cage at all times. If anyone has any helpful hints or advice it would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Phil
I just got an iguana to a male he was abused bad so he is not very nice yet.But about your iguana i bought a book about iguanas i would feed yours every other day not twice a week they can eat carrets, peas, corn. Pretty much any fruit or vegtable they should only have about 10% fruit 40% veg some calciume and vitamen D and lots of water change water every day.
