Underweight rescued iggy

Could anyone give advice on what would be a good food item/s for a VERY underweight iggy. I am pretty sure all he was fed before was iceburg lettuce! He is about 4ft and very thin. He eats like a pig but I was wondering what the best items to fatten him would be. I heard that cooked spagetti is good? Any helpful thoughts?
