: I live in flroida and it is about 85 degrees out probably a lil warmer in the sun alot warmer probably maybe 90 or so, anyways hardly a cloud in the sky all sun. I took my iguana oustide and held him and he was content but it was so boring just standing there holding him. So i went inside got an old bird cage of mine and cleaned it and stuck him in there. As soon as i closed the door he went absolutely crazy, hes a free roamer and forgets what being in a cage is like. I have never had him in a cage while ive had him i rescued him remember... So i immediately took him out and put him back in his bathroom, he a bit furious with me which im realy sad about because hes just started to trust me and be nice to me. Anyways, I want to take him outside how can i do this? Also i want to take him on trips with me this holiday two hour drive up to jacksonville, but he would have to stay inside a cage, it would be a much larger cage, but do you hink hed still go nuts? thanks
You can buy a lead for an iguana. You simply slip its front legs through two holes in the material and then you can hold him on the lead. A good pet shop should sell them and show you how to use them
Good luck! My iguana can hardly ever go outside...its usually too cold!
