In case you're tempted, avoid the over-the-counter worming chemicals that you can find in grocery stores and pet shops. It is not meant for igs and ig dosages are not available.
Panacur and Flagyl will kill many of the common infestations, but it's a real hassle to get the stuff (ranch feed-stores and horse tackle stores) and to prepare it properly. Besides, if Twig is infested with something other than the ones that these drugs kill, you will still need to see a vet or track down other meds. Twig might be weak or sick by then.
It's really a lot easier to visit a vet, unless you have a big herp operation going.
