I peel the squash, then use a different sort of peeler to peel thin slices. I find it much more effective than slicing the squash. It is really, very effective. Tarzan doesn't like hos food grated, its too fine and sticks to his nose :P

I was peeling Acorn Suash when I did this... the peeler is sharp and it slipped off of the squash and onto my finger.
