Stray Iguana

Burtonsville, Greencastle Rd., 3000 block, Oct. 9. An iguana was reported to be in a back yard. The caller said he had spotted the reptile in his yard earlier in the month. He was able to confine the iguana under a trash can. A Montgomery County Humane Society driver transported the iguana to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. If the iguana is not claimed by an owner, it will be put up for adoption.
