I rescued this iguana on labor day, my dad found him in orlando in his back yard, he was skinny, and brownish, and two of his toes are crooked (maybe broke and healed wrong) anyway, my dad brought him up to ocala where i live and ive had him since, no one has claimed him. I gave him my bathroom to live in, the countertop has bowl of water and a bowl of veggies, then theres a long wooden post that goes from the counter to the middle of the room at middle height where there is a long wide board thats at a slight slant from wall to wall covered in reptile carpeting, this is where he basks and theres a uvb light coving that spot, im getting an active uv heat floor soon for him. Then the reptile carpet continues off the board and does an almosty 90 degree turn up for about a foot where there is a shower curtain rod with green reptile carpet on it. from there there is screen connected to it which does a 45 degree angle across the shower and up to about 6-12 inches below the ceiling where theres another shower curtain rod. This is where he sleeps and goes when he wants to feel safe becauseits the tallest area. Every morning i take a hot shower in there and the humidity builds up, at day the basking area is about 100 degrees and the rest of the room is about 85-90, at night it is usually about 75 degrees because there are no windows and the vents to the room have been closed. So how does this sound? I want to add more places for him to climb and go, any suggestions? Tell me what your room set ups are please.
