However, if I ran into that situation here, I would just request that my supermaket produce department or farmer's market get some of these products in. Stores around here are pretty helpful with that kind of thing. Maybe you could grow some in the summer too. If the produce managers won't help....surely there is somewhere in Canada that sells some of these items. You could maybe pay for some of it in bulk to be shipped to you if all else fails (then freeze some. I don't freeze anything myself, but in your case, I would consider it).
