: We picked this little gem up from the president of our Herp Society last night. He and 2 other iguanas were abandoned in a condemned house and it's assumed that they were left alone for several weeks. The other two didn't survive. I never thought I'd see a case of emaciation worse than Kermit's but I guess I was mistaken. When you touch or rub this lizard it has a terrible hollow sound. This iguana had a huge abscess on his jaw which luckily was very encapsulated and was removed quite easily. He has spunk and enough energy to be defensive and to tail whip. I hope he has the will to survive.
