when i let my iguana roam around i make sure that every area of the room is safe. Since my iguana is still really really small, she can easily get into small areas. i put duct tape where there are wholes and you could also stuff towels in places or spots that you don't want her to go (like behind the headboard of your bed.) Also, I bought some long wooden boards that I place in front of or on top of the vents so she can't reach inside. It's worked for me.
