I think my Iguana (Maya;Male;91/2"svl;30"tl)likes to be petted very much. We have our big petting sessions before his bath and I pet him for 15 minutes or so. I pet him on top of the head, under the neck, on the spines (he likes to have the spines squezed a little). And all that time he has his eyes closed and is like in a "transe", I can do what I want with his head, he becomes like a doll!
: HI, I waanted to know how your iguanas react to being petted. Phil usually closes his eyes, but sometomes, if I stroke him down his back, he'll arch his back. He usually nly does that when his back and spikes are shedding, but sometimes he does it when he isn't shedding. does anyone know why?
