The bedding may not be the best but it's only temporary..we have to move soon and tear down the cage and rebuild it..busy schedules and lack of funds make it harder to build the perfect cage....still working on it though. She hardly even goes down to the floor level anyway so it hasn't been a problem. She's done well and I'm proud of my Lou. :)

: Louie is very pretty...looks just like my Jade except Jade is only about 8" long (not includig tail). I agree w/ the others about the substrate. I bought the green stuff petsmart sells for flooring reptile cages. It comes in grey also.:) I also didn't think there was anyway around not having 3 lights. One for heat, one for UVB and one for night heat (although Jade has been thriving w/o his night light for about a week...it burned out but plan to get him another tonight).
