: : HAs anyone used turban or blue hubbard squash. Also I bought a bunch of radishes and wondered if the leaves would be ok for a treat. Using something different seems to help their ppetites.

: Butternut squash is supposed to be good. It's easy to make -- I cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and make a few knife slashes in it (so it doesn't explode in the microwave). I wrap half in plastic and nuke it until it's done (a medium sized one takes about 5 minutes). Let it cool in the plastic. When it's done, just scoop it out and you can keep it in a container (in the fridge) for a few days. When I want to take more, I put it on a plastic lid and nuke about l0 seconds. The other half will last a while in the fridge until you're ready to make it. By getting that for my iguana, I tried it and it's delicious!

: Also, I think spaghetti squash is recommended, but I've never made it.

: Hope this helps.
