You are taking a risk by walking your ig. Iguanas aren't dogs. They like to be up high, not on the ground. After awhile on the ground walking, he will get nervous and try to find a high place or place to hide under (or gator roll). There are some leashes that work, but I would only use them when letting him bask on a high place outside.. just as a precautionary item.. or if you take him to the park or something. But I'm warning you that having them walk on the ground may cause you many problems. Even people that let them free roam in the yard sometimes have trouble with them wanting to scale up trees...and those people have ig proofed their yards as much as possible.
